FanimeCon

The Problem

FanimeCon is a large-scale annual convention serving over 22,000 attendees, with a complex schedule of programming spread across a large venue. The event required a clear and cohesive visual system to support navigation, communicate information efficiently, and maintain consistency across both attendee-facing and internal materials.

The Solution

I developed a unified design approach for event communications that balanced information clarity, usability, and visual consistency across multiple touchpoints.

This included creating structured layouts for high-density information such as schedules, maps, and programming details, ensuring attendees could quickly understand and navigate the event experience.

I also worked within an evolving annual theme, adapting visual direction across assets while maintaining consistency across departments and applications.

In addition to attendee-facing materials, I supported internal event operations by designing tools that helped streamline communication and improve accessibility across teams and spaces.

The Result

The final system improved clarity across a large, multi-venue event environment by creating a more consistent and navigable experience for attendees and staff.
